My name is Alison Maria and I am a 23 year old Southern California native currently living in Northern California wine country my mothers house...that's right! I moved back home, got a job with a non-profit and I'm milking the free rent.

I started Relation-Shits in 2011 when I joined the Advanced Writing class at Sonoma State. We were advised to choose a topic and write a post each week. I tired to think of something people would actually want to read and thus Relation-Shits was born!

Everyone has a relation-shit story; whether it be from a significant other, a family member, a friend, a roommate or even a stranger.

At the time I had just gotten out of a 2 year relationship and jumped into the dating world. That is when I was kidnapped on a 1st date and I knew the true relation-shits were about to start.

I am in a relationship JK, things have changed but I'm looking forward to more life lessons from some relation-shits.

When I am not blogging, I enjoy hiking, scrap booking, hanging out with my crazy family, spending time with my weird friends, watching way too many YouTube videos, pretending I can cook, drinking wine and/or cider, eating other peoples delicious cooking, attempting to travel, and sleeping.
