The One Who DGAF's

Today in a dressing room, this is what I overheard -

Girl #1: "I think I need a smaller size."

Girl #2: "Are you sure?"

Either she's a bitch of a friend
or the girlfriend we all want - an honest one.

When did it become too difficult to be honest with one another?
When we were children, out parents taught us
"If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all."

I feel like that hindered our honesty as adults.
Let's say you move in with a not so clean roommate
& no one has the guts to say anything...
That means a year talking about it behind her back
& looking like bitches.

So, what's worse?
Being honest
or censoring yourself.

I think for the most part,
it's a lose - lose.

You're honest to your friend about a guy she is seeing
& then she de-friends you on Facebook.
Next thing you know,  they break up
& you're still to blame.

Oh, don't act like you have no idea
what I'm talking about...

Now that I'm older & gotten over
the idea that I need to please everyone
I've become more honest -
if ya haven't been able to tell with this blog.

I've dubbed it as my DGAF stage in life.
Of course I'm still respectful of those around me
but if someone does something shady
I now bring it up because DGAF.

And more people should get on my level here
because it makes life so much less stressful!
And I won't feel so alone...
At least my man Kurt Cobain has my back here.

Wise words.

And this is just
