Moving on.
Easier said than done.
Let me tell you.
Like most, I have had my fair share of
relationships gone right
and relationships gone wrong.
I like to think all those gone wrong,
I've moved on from.
WHAT A FOOL!
I tend to pull the -
"Out of sight, out of mind"
trick on myself.
I don't see them.
I don't talk to them.
I don't think of them.
So I don't miss them!
Or so I thought.
What is it about a glance of your Facebook Feed
that brings back so many emotions?!
It's supposed to be a way to stay connected with family,
share embarrassing high school photos,
and keep up on the latest news around the world.
NOT to rehash old feelings
from those who were once in your life.
But hey, that's Facebook these days.
And it sucks.
True.
I could just delete them.
But then how will I be able to stalk their lives
and make sure I made all the right choices?!?
It's a rough life.
I know.
So, when feelings come up from seeing
a dumb Facebook post,
what does that mean?
Do you miss them?
Should you have done something differently?
Or are you just dwelling on the past and
thinking, what if?
In my opinion, Facebook ruins more things
than it helps.
It keeps you in the past
and makes it hard to move on, especially
when you can't let go.
Even when you think you have deleted or blocked
all of those reminders,
Facebook makes those damn updates
where those people still pop up on your feed
because a mutual friend comments on their shit.
WHY FACEBOOK, WHY?!
So, what do you do about it?
Well, you have three choices.
Delete.
Block.
Or, cry.
Fine, I guess there is a fourth -
you can just get over it.
But what fun is that?!
